"I go beyond prejudices and dream about it"

Hwaseung holds the 6th completion ceremony and exhibition of the "Together Dream" project

- Both volunteers and beneficiaries will carry out a two-killing social contribution program in which both volunteers and beneficiaries grow

- Efforts shall be made to integrate the disabled and non-disabled into society by supporting the self-reliance of the vulnerable

Hwaseung (Chairman Hyun Seung-hoon) announced on the 20th that it held the 6th completion ceremony of the social contribution program Hwaseung Dream Frame Project <Together Dream Frame> to support the self-reliance of young people with developmental disabilities at the Busan office in Hwaseung on the 16th.

The completion ceremony was held by awarding certificates, sharing curriculum and achievements, and experiencing programs in each field, and participants' poslin art works produced through this project activity were displayed at the Hwaseung Busan office until the 20th.

Hwaseung Wiggle Project <Together Wiggle> is Hwaseung's representative social contribution program that supports the independence of vulnerable groups such as the disabled and low-income youth, and a total of 10 people participated this year, including 5 volunteers from Hwaseung executives and employees and 5 users of welfare centers (the disabled). The volunteers of Hwaseung executives and employees and users of welfare centers matched 1:1, and the process of "Together Wiggle Smart Farm Program" and "Together Wiggle Forslin Art Program" were conducted together for four months.

The "Smart Farm Program to Wiggle Together," named "Young Farmers," had a time of unity as participants learned the process of cultivating various edible plants and grew crops themselves through portable growers, while cooking together. Olchigrow (CEO Hwang Tae-yeon), who participated in the program as an educational institution, was responsible for the growth of young farmer participants at a smart farm education facility in the Geoje Sunrise Station space in Busan.

In addition, the "Drawing Dreams" team, which participated in the "Wiggle Fosslin Art Program together," proceeded to create their own works by drawing on ceramics such as teacups and plates. "It was not an easy process, but as a result, there was no prejudice that the works they made were obstacles," said Kim Si-an, CEO of Grida Co., Ltd., who conducted the training, highly appreciated the participants' works.

As a result, unlike general simple donation-type social contribution activities, the Hwaseung Wiggle Project is evaluated as a successful social contribution activity by encouraging voluntary participation of employees and volunteers and reflecting the clear needs of the vulnerable group's "independence" that the community really needs.

Hwaseung, managing director of Jungsik Kim, said, "The dream together is not just a support program for the vulnerable, but a social contribution program that kills two birds with one stone in which both volunteers and beneficiaries grow."

Lee Seung-hee, director of the Busan Metropolitan City Welfare Center for the Disabled, said, "Through this dream program together, it has greatly helped the growth of the youth developmentally disabled," adding, "We will continue to pay attention to support their independence and strive for social integration of the disabled."

Meanwhile, Hwaseung started as Dongyang Rubber Industries Co., Ltd. in 1953 and is currently expanding its capabilities around the world through affiliates such as Hwaseung Corporation, Hwaseung Industries, and Hwaseung Enterprise in the areas of auto parts, materials, chemistry, sports fashion ODM, and general trade. <The End>
